Victim Identified In The Blue Hill Ave and Fremont St. Homicide

At about 4:44 AM on Saturday April 27, 2024, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to the area of Blue Hill Ave and Fremont St for reports of a person shot. Upon arrival the officers located an adult male victim suffering from life threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was transported by Boston EMS to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The victim has since been identified as George Deeble, 42, of Dorchester.

The Boston Police Department's Homicide Unit is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit ay 617-343-4470.
