Representatives from New Brighton RNLI attended a gala dinner, where they were presented with the generous donation,which they will share with Hoylake and West Kirby RNLI.
On 15November, volunteer RNLI crew members from New Brighton Lifeboat station were invited to an evening dinner at the Royal Mersey Yacht Club where they were presented with acheque for £6,000, which is to be split between RNLI lifeboat stations at New Brighton, Hoylake and West Kirkby.
The RNLI is funded by donations and legacies. The lifeboat crews from New Brighton, Hoylake and West Kirby are extremely grateful to The Royal Mersey Yacht Club for such a wonderful gesture.
