Russian military medical units continue carrying out their humanitarian mission for rescuing civilian population of the liberated settlements in Kharkov region who happened to suffer attacks launched by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and to be left without medical support.

Military medical units of the Western Military District (WMD) have deployed a mobile hospital for providing first aid and medical assistance to civilian population in one of the liberated settlements of the Kharkov region.

People consult various problems, such as cardiac diseases and injuries.

In addition, residents are provided with medication delivered from Russia within humanitarian aid. The equipment of the hospitals allows to examine heart, respiratory and gastro-intestinal organs in detail. Critically ill patients are to be transported to Russia for complex surgeries if necessary.

The hospitals are provided with highly-sophisticated equipment for carrying out various diagnostic procedures: X-rays, CT-scans, ultrasound, laboratory tests etc.

Doctors operate 24 hours a day dealing with both domestic pain and injuries sustained as a result of missile and mortar attacks launched by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at civilian infrastructure and population.

Older people are more likely to attend doctors with old injuries for bandaging, heart-, headache, as well as vascular pain. Residents receive the necessary medication.

Scheduled surgeries that are one of few options to preserve life and health in the conditions of the absence of functioning hospitals and inability to transport to district centres.

The quality of first aid, as well as the velocity of transporting injured patients to a local field hospital directly influence on reducing losses.

Russian military medical units use Linza armoured medical vehicles for transporting victims. These tactical vehicles are designed for transporting a wounded victim to the nearest medical post for providing professional aid as soon as possible.
