(b)Departure of Director
On June 3, 2021, Sandeep Mathrani informed the Board of Directors (the 'Board') of Host Hotels and Resorts, Inc. ('Host'), the general partner of Host Hotels & Resorts, L.P., that he is resigning from the Board effective June 8, 2021. Mr. Mathrani indicated that he is resigning because he will not be able to continue to commit sufficient time and attention to Host due to the increased time commitments associated with his role as chief executive officer of WeWork and other directorships. Mr. Mathrani did not resign on account of any disagreement with Host's operations, policies or procedures.
