Gate City Bank Partners With North Dakota to Launch Homeowner Financial Relief Program

July 5, 2022

FARGO, ND - In partnership with Gate City Bank, the state of North Dakota has launched a relief program to assist homeowners impacted by financial hardships related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The North Dakota Homeowners Assistance Fund (HAF) will help homeowners at risk of housing instability due to past due mortgage payments, utilities or related property expenses, as well as assist those who may be struggling to maintain stable housing for other financial reasons. These funds are intended to complement solutions offered by mortgage servicers such as Gate City Bank and will be known in North Dakota as "ND Help for Homeowners."

"We're grateful for the opportunity to spearhead this program, along with the state of North Dakota," said Sue Anderson, Senior Vice President of Lending Solutions. "With this federal funding, we're so excited to get involved and continue to help our customers make mortgage payments, breathe a sigh of relief and just overall create a better way of life."

Applications for the ND Help for Homeowners program will open July 5, 2022, and funding will be available on a first come, first served basis. Income limits and conditions apply.
