Victim from Field Homicide Identified

ANAHEIM, Calif. (May 12, 2022) - Homicide detectives have identified 53-year-old Jason Randall Dahl, a homeless Anaheim man, as the homicide victim found yesterday in an Anaheim field.

On Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at about 9:20 a.m., a passerby called Anaheim PD to report a possible deceased subject located in a field in the area of Phoenix Club Drive and Sanderson Avenue. Officers located Dahl in the field and confirmed that he was deceased. Dahl was suffering from at least one stab wound.

Detectives believe Dahl had been living in the field and are asking anyone with information to call Orange County Crime Stoppers at 855-TIP-OCCS.
