The City Council will be discussing the criterion that they will be using to evaluate the proposals that have been submitted at the City Council meeting on January 24th at 7:00 pm. The specific proposals will not be discussed-the discussion will only be about the criterion and the review process. You are welcome to attend if you are interested in seeing what the process will look like and if you would like to comment on the process.
The City Council will also be holding a City Council workshop or Town Hall meeting on Sunday, February 18th, at 2:00 pm. The purpose of the meeting will be to allow each entity that has submitted a proposal a few minutes to explain their proposal to Council (and any residents in attendance) and to start the City Council deliberation on the merits of the projects based on the criterion established by the City Council at the January 24th Council meeting mentioned above. Residents are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and express their opinions about the proposals.
