Tajik-Iran Tourism Forum

On June 2022, the Tajikistan-Iran Tourism Forum was held at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Tehran and in cooperation with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Along with the representatives of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Iran and the Committee for Tourism Development of Tajikistan, the forum was attended by the heads of tourism companies from both countries, associations, exhibitions and mass media.

The forum began with a speech by the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Iran Nizomiddin Zohidi, who highlighted the current state and the prospects of relations between Tajikistan and Iran in the light of the recent official visit of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon to Tehran (29-30 May, 2022). In this regard, it was noted that the signing of bilateral documents during this visit created a favorable basis for strengthening cooperation in various fields, including tourism between Tajikistan and Iran.

During the forum, the heads of the travel companies of our country ("Orient Tour", "Rasul Tour", "Go Travel" and "Khidmatrasonii Sayohi") presented the tourism potentials of Tajikistan in their speeches. Within the framework of the event the photos and the films about the tourist attractions of Tajikistan were showcased and cooperation contracts between Tajik and Iranian companies were signed.
