Congressman Bennie Thompson Announces U. S. Department of Justice Awarded $750,000 to Mississippi State Department of Health
(BOLTON, MS)Today, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced the U.S. Department of Justice Office for Victims of Crime has awarded $750,000 in FY 2022 Enhanced Collaborative Model Task Force to Combat Human Trafficking Grant Funds to the Mississippi State Department of Health.
This funding will support expanded task force partnerships, refinement and implementation of new and existing protocols, meaningful survivor engagement, and implementation of proactive approaches that are victim-centered and survivor and trauma-informed.
