NH-01: Abortion, Big Lie Spur Nasty GOP Primary

It may be chilly in New Hampshire but they've got a red-hot GOP primary in NH-01.

The GOP primary is splitting at the seams on two key issues to GOP voters: former President Donald Trump's lies about the 2020 election and abortion.

On abortion, Tim Baxter attacked his fellow candidates for being weak or unclear on where they stand regarding abortion rights. New Hampshire families deserve clear answers from each of the candidates on extreme anti-abortion measures.

Days after former President Trump suggested in an interview with NPR that Republican candidates who did not support his lies about the election would not receive his support, the GOP primary is split. Matt Mowers, who previously acknowledged Biden got more votes than Trump, backtracked this weekend on WMUR, claiming there were "irregularities" in the election. His opponents, Karoline Leavitt, Tim Baxter, and Gail Huff Brown have all claimed Trump won or questioned the 2020 results. Mowers thinks he can have it both ways on the lies about the election - he can't.

"From election lies to anti-reproductive rights measures, this GOP primary isn't just a race to the right - it's a race to the bottom."
