Police Requesting Assistance With Sexual Assault Investigation, Warden Avenue And Pharmacy Avenue Area

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the publics assistance with a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 7 a.m., the victim was jogging along the Gatineau Hydro Corridor trail in the Warden Avenue and Pharmacy Avenue area

- while jogging, the victim was assaulted from behind by an unknown suspect

- the victim was able to fight off the suspect who fled on foot

The suspect is described as wearing grey track pants, black hooded sweatshirt and last seen running into Wexford Park.

Investigators are requesting anyone in the area with dash cameras or home video surveillance to contact police.
