The Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the International School for Advanced Studies (Sissa) have signed an agreement to collaborate on the development of orientation activities, nationwide, as well as to plan educational and research programmes.

FMD and Sissa will work jointly to promote innovative and experimental courses related to the use of new technology for students of all ages. The courses will be held both physically and virtually at the FMD Phyrtual Innovation Gym, in schools, school labs and other agreed upon centres.

In particular, the new scientific and cultural collaboration programme aims to:

• Orient youth towards university careers and focus especially on STEAM subjects and scientific and technological professions.
• Promote collaboration amongst schools, universities and companies.
• Promote innovation and enterprise amongst the young.
• Promote Italian excellence in science and technology abroad.
• Raise institutional awareness on the development opportunities provided by scientific and technological careers and their many applications.
