Washington Commissioner Directs Insurers to Complete Premium Change Transparency Survey
The Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC) has initiated its rulemaking process regarding its proposed rule related to premium change transparency (R 2022-01). As part of the process, on August 4, 2022, Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler directed each authorized property & casualty insurance business entity to provide certain information regarding the estimated costs of the proposed rule through the survey provided by the OIC.
