Siemens Mobility GmbH has achieved the ISO 27001 certification Siemens Mobility GmbH achieved the ISO 27001 certification on July 1, 2022. The ISO 27001 certification encompasses 20 Siemens Mobility locations in Germany with more than 9,000 employees and involves Siemens Mobility Business Units, such as Rolling Stock, Rail Infrastructure, Turnkey Systems and Customer Service and all disciplines, including procurement, development, production and project management. ISO 27001 is an internationally acknowledged standard specifying cybersecurity requirements that organizations must fulfill and to which they must adapt. Increasing digitalization brings benefits - as well as the need for adequate protection against cyberattacks. Rail operators face new cyber threats and cyber laws are giving rise to new requirements.
