Courtney Marcus Recognized as Among D CEO’s Most Powerful and Influential Business Leaders for 2022

Courtney S. Marcus, Co-Managing Partner of Weil's Dallas office and a partner in the Firm's Banking & Finance practice, has been recognized by D CEO in its 2022 Dallas 500 publication as one of the region's most powerful and influential business leaders. This is the third consecutive year that Courtney has earned Dallas 500 honors.

The special annual publication, produced by D CEO's editors after nearly a year of research and interviews, recognizes the most prominent business leaders in more than 60 industry categories for their contributions to Dallas-Fort Worth's thriving economy. Courtney was selected for recognition in the Law - Managing Partners subcategory.

Courtney leads Weil's representation of private equity firms, public and private corporate borrowers and financial investors in their most complex banking and finance matters. Her extensive experience includes leveraged acquisition and recapitalization transactions, bridge and mezzanine financing, cash flow and asset-based lending, debtor-in-possession financing, and loan restructurings and workouts. She regularly advises on billion-dollar deals and has worked with clients in a variety of industries such as energy (including E&P, midstream and energy service companies), sports franchises, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, business services and consumer products.

In her Firm leadership role, she helps guide Weil's pace-setting efforts in diversity and pro bono service and serves on the Firm's Management Committee, among other significant contributions to the Firm's overall success.
