RSU Senior Nursing Students Present Nursing Capstones April 30

Rogers State University nursing students presented their capstone projects to the public Tuesday, April 30, in the atrium of the Health Sciences Building on the Claremore campus.

"Best Practices in Nursing and Healthcare Today" showcased the efforts of 46 senior nursing students scheduled to graduate from the program in two weeks.

Nursing students work in groups and select a topic by identifying a change needed in the nursing profession. The students utilize best practices to develop and provide solutions for that change. Their capstones represent the culmination of their hard work over the past four years, as students utilize everything they've learned and present their findings to the RSU community to provide greater insight for improvement of healthcare.

RSU's School of Nursing and Health Professions offers career opportunities in nursing and pre-professional allied health occupations. RSU nursing graduates are employed throughout the state and across the region in the private and public healthcare industry.
