​ShotSpotter Alert Leads to Arrest

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA - On May 14, 2022, at approximately 1201 hours, officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) were dispatched to the report of gunshots being fired into a residence in the 5800 block of Roxbury Place. Upon their arrival officers identified the suspect and quickly detained him. During their investigation officers recovered the AR15 and loaded magazine used in the shooting. Though property was damaged, there were no injuries.

David White (M/25) of Newport News, VA was arrested and charged with Felonious Assault (x2), Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony (x2), Discharging a Firearm at an Occupied Dwelling.
