SEPTEMBER - National Senior Center Month

Each September we celebrate National Senior Center Month at 13 Centers for Active Adults throughout Westmoreland County. This year's theme "Strengthening Community Connections" was chosen to highlight how important senior centers are to the health and well-being of each community by providing support and opportunities to our older adults.

During September, we encourage individuals to visit their local Center and learn more about the activities, programs, classes, and meals offered. Mark your calendar today for these Center for Active Adults Open Houses. If you're planning on visiting one of the centers for lunch, please call ahead to reserve your meal.
