General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region gave an assessment of the work on bringing the power grid facilities of the Tverenergo branch to a standard state.

In the area of special attention of power engineers are the eastern districts of the Tver region, where power outages were recorded due to anomalous snowfall last winter. In total, repairs and clearing of routes are planned for 1,384 overhead lines; since the beginning of the year, work has been carried out on 311 lines.

Employees of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region in the region have replaced and repaired 1,832 poles of 6-10 kV power lines, reinstalling more than 85 km of wire. More than 2,100 km of routes have been cleared from trees and shrubs, 8,130 trees have been cut down that threaten to fall on power lines.
Also, the head of the energy companies inspected the condition of production facilities in the Vesyegonsky Distribution Zone.

'A reinforced grouping of power engineers continues to operate in the region, the pace of work is good, in a number of sections the volume of work performed exceeds the planned one. Implementation of a full range of measures to improve reliability will allow minimizing the possibility of technological disruptions and power failures for residents of the Tver region,' stressed Igor Makovskiy, Head of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.
