NEWS RELEASE
For Immediate Release: Dec. 3, 2021

DALLAS - With the safety and well-being of staff and students in mind, the district is extending the $50 vaccination incentive to fully vaccinated students ages 5-11. To apply for the incentive, parents or guardians need to fill out the form and submit proof of vaccination by March 31, 2022. This new incentive does not apply to students ages 12 and older. Participation is voluntary, and the information provided will help determine how many eligible students have been fully vaccinated.

To apply for the incentive, families can visit www.dallasisd.org/studentvaxincentive.

ESSER town halls
The district will host two virtual town halls to share updates and feedback to our community about how Dallas ISD has invested federal funds to mitigate learning loss and address other urgent issues related to the pandemic. The town halls will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8, and 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 14. To register for one or both events, visit www.dallasisd.org/esser.
