SPIEF-2021: Northern Capital Gateway and Novaport Holding signed a cooperation agreement

On June 4, 2021, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, St. Petersburg Government, Northern Capital Gateway LLC, the management company of Pulkovo airport, and LLC Novaport Holding, which manages 20 airports in Russia, signed an agreement of intent.

The agreement is concluded for a period of 5 years from the date of signing. The cooperation is ensuring the growth of direct passenger traffic between Pulkovo airport and the airports of Novaport, as well as increase in the number of transfer passengers through Pulkovo.

The signing of the agreement by the St. Petersburg Government underlines its interest in developing ties with Russian cities, increasing the city's transport accessibility and its tourism potential, and is also a move to a new level of the previously concluded memorandum between Northern Capital Gateway and Novaport.

Recall that in March 2021, the companies signed an agreement on the improvement and development of the route network between St. Petersburg and 20 cities of Russia, including Astrakhan, Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Kaliningrad, Kemerovo, Mineralnye Vody, Murmansk, Novosibirsk, Perm, Tomsk, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk, and others.

- We continue to work on the development of the route network at Pulkovo Airport. Within the framework of cooperation, we held negotiations with several airlines, at airports, we research the demand for destinations among passengers, we are working on the options for cooperation with the tourism business.
