NEW YORK, NY - Global investment firm The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG) today announced that its Global Credit platform led and structured the debt financing package to support Morgan Stanley Capital Partners' ('MSCP') acquisition of Advanced Web Technologies Holding Company, which operates as AWT Labels & Packaging and Citation Healthcare Labels ('AWT') and is a leading provider of labels and flexible packaging solutions.
Carlyle's middle market lending strategy, Carlyle Direct Lending, acted as joint lead arranger and administrative agent on the financing. Carlyle's direct lending team focuses on making investments across the capital structure, primarily in private equity sponsor-backed companies, including senior secured loans, unitranche loans and junior debt.
