SEC Investigation Terminated With No Enforcement Action

On behalf of an e-commerce company, Skadden persuaded the SEC staff to drop its multiyear investigation with no enforcement action against the company or any of its officers, directors or employees. The investigation related to the company's disclosures regarding its business model, which was the subject of several negative short-seller reports, and later the company's disclosures regarding the effects of new regulations on its business.
