DCCC Launches New TV Ads in Staten Island and South Brooklyn

30-Second Spots Exposes Nicole Malliotakis' Record of Sticking It to NY-11 Families

Today the DCCC released new television ads in New York's 11th Congressional District. 'Stick It-Staten Island ' and 'Stick It-Brooklyn' begin airing today on New York City cable markets and follow the DCCC's first ad 'Wallet.'

Nicole Malliotakis supported the 2017 tax bill that gives trillions in handouts to wealthy corporations. The law added 2 trillion dollars to the national debt and slammed middle class New Yorkers by capping the property tax deduction. Malliotakis and her backers in Washington planned to pay for the bill by cutting Social Security, Medicare and other benefits for the most vulnerable.

But that's not all. In the middle of the pandemic, Nicole Malliotakis voted to cut $400,000,000 from hospitals, again putting Staten Island and Brooklyn families at risk.

DCCC Spokesperson Christine Bennett released the following statement:

'Nicole Malliotakis is sticking it to Staten Island and South Brooklyn families, supporting a tax scheme that raised taxes on middle class families while giving massive handouts to big corporations. What's worse, Nicole Malliotakis voted to cut hundreds of millions of dollars from hospitals in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. Nicole Malliotakis represents everything voters hate about politics. She can't be trusted.'
