Execution Paper of HRD Staff for 2020 Debated

On June 4, the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee of Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs was held.

As the Acting Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan has presented, during the year 2020 about 472 mln AMD was spent, providing 91.7% planned index. The allocated financial means were directed to the implementation of the 2 programmes.

The RA Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan presented the annual budget execution of the incomes and expenditures of the staff of the structure led by him.

It was noted that compared with the previous four-five years, the loading of the works had grown for about three times. The calls directed to hot line also increased three-four times.

Arman Tatoyan has considered one of the important directions the provision for the protection of the social rights, noting that there is need of continuous steps for improving the sphere. Speaking about the unified social service, he has stated it does not still fully function.

Touching upon the protection of human rights in the armed forces, the speaker said that voluminous work had been done: special works had been worked out. He distinguished the issues regarding the servicemen's rights to social security and the medical service.

Arman Tatoyan has pointed out the issues of the women's and entrepreneurs' rights, the protection of the border regions' citizens on which the structure also implements works.

Answering to the MPs' questions, the Human Rights Defender presented clarifications on the problems relating to the result indices and resources.
