Finland: FTA stops exceptional procedure for copies of tax certificates

Further to Announcement C20011, concerning the temporarily acceptance of scanned copies of tax certificates used for the purpose of obtaining relief at source and quick refund, Clearstream Banking1 informs customers that the Finnish Tax Authorities has clarified that effective

1 October 2021

such process is no longer applicable and original document must be provided, when applicable, as per previous procedures.

Customers are requested to comply with the above requirement with immediate effect.
