NOTICE OF THREE PUBLIC HEARINGS

PUBLIC HEARING
June 6, 2022

The City Council of the City of Norwich will meet in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 100 Broadway, Norwich, Connecticut on June 6, 2022, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the following proposed Ordinance:

An Ordinance amending SECTION 9-28 of the Norwich code of ordinances BY amending the annual fee to be charged for each truck used by commercial haulers for the disposition of solid waste and any other materials collected in Norwich AND DISPOSED OF at facilities operated by the southeastern Connecticut regional resource recovery authority

Purpose: to increase fees.

PUBLIC HEARINGS
June 20, 2022

The City Council of the City of Norwich will meet in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 100 Broadway, Norwich, Connecticut on June 20, 2022, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the following proposed Ordinances:

An Ordinance amending section 2-89 of the Norwich Code of Ordinances, part of Article VII. Commission for Persons with Disabilities, to reduce the total number of members on the Commission from nine to seven and to reduce the number of members required to be selected from certain categories.

Purpose: to reduce the membership.

An Ordinance REPEALING section 16-4 of the norwich code of ordinances

Purpose: to repeal section 16-4.

Copies of said Ordinances are on file open to public inspection at the office of the City and Town Clerk.
