Great approval at this year's Annual General Meeting of SGL Carbon

Due to Corona, our Annual General Meeting (AGM) was again held virtually in the head office in Wiesbaden on May 17, 2022. Registered shareholders were able to view the AGM via a password-protected internet channel.

Our Supervisory Board Chairwoman Susanne Klatten led the meeting and reported on the work of the Supervisory Board. Dr. Torsten Derr then presented the course of the past fiscal year in his speech and explained the expectations for the current fiscal year. Shareholders asked questions, for example, about various financial indicators from the previous year and our ESG strategy, but also about the current situation regarding energy and raw material prices, for example.

This year, too, the required decisions and the approval of the actions of the Executive Board and Supervisory Board for the past fiscal year were approved by a large majority. The voting results are available here.
