KANE, PA - On Friday, May 17, Administrator Isabel Casillas Guzman, head of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)and the voice in President Biden's Cabinet for America's more than 33 million small businesses will travel to Kane, Pa., alongside Senator Bob Casey to meet with local small business owners and economic development leaders as part of the Biden-Harris Administration's Investing in Rural America Tour.
In the morning, Administrator Guzman and Senator Casey will join Kane Mayor Brandy Schimp and local economic development representatives for a discussion on the state of rural business in the Pennsylvania Wilds region. They will then depart for a walking tour of local small businesses - including those that are a part of the Small Business Boomunder the Biden-Harris Administration - to meet with the owners who have benefited from SBA resources and hear about their experiences as rural entrepreneurs.
