Detectives investigate Shooting in First Hill Neighborhood

Detectives are investigating an early morning shooting in a First Hill Neighborhood.

Shortly before 6:00 a.m., 911 received a report of a shooting in the 700 block of Spring Street.

Police arrived and found a 22-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police provided aid until Seattle Fire Department arrived and the male was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.

A rooftop party was underway with approximately 200 party goers when multiple gunshots were heard. The victim was found with gunshot wounds in the elevator by building staff. No other victims were found at the scene.

Seattle Gun Violence Unit Detectives responded to the scene and are working to determine the circumstances that led up to the shooting. No suspects have been identified.
