Love Is On The Streets Donation Drive Now Extended Until April 29, 2024

APRIL 23, 2024

DAVIE, Fla. - The Town of Davie and Love Is On The Streets, Inc.'s donation drive to help the homeless has been extended until Monday, April 29, 2024. Donations collected will help provide toiletries and essential items to individuals suffering from homelessness.

Items can be dropped off Monday through Sunday during the following times at the locations listed below.

Drop-off Locations:

Monday - Thursday

  • Town Clerk's Office (Building C): 8800 SW 36th Street | 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Pine Island Multipurpose Center: 3801 S. Pine Island Road | 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Pine Island Fitness and Aquatic Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Davie Police Department Lobby: 1230 South Nob Hill Road | 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Davie Fire Rescue Department Main Lobby: 6901 Orange Drive | 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Friday

  • Pine Island Fitness and Aquatic Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Pine Island Multipurpose Center: 3801 S. Pine Island Road | 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturday - Sunday

  • Pine Island Fitness and Aquatic Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Items being accepted (new/unused):

  • Socks
  • Underwear
  • Jackets
  • Non-perishable food (i.e., granola bars, tuna, crackers, peanut butter, cereal, snacks, canned fruit)
  • Deodorant
  • Shampoo
  • Blankets
  • First-Aid Kits
  • Personal Cleaning Wipes
  • Sunscreen
  • Lip Balm
  • Backpacks

Love Is On The Streets, Inc. is a non-profit organization with a focus on transforming lives and helping individuals who are facing homelessness. Their mission is to restore hope, faith and dignity to people living on the streets by providing food, water, clothes, showers, housing, mentorship and more.
