Hope Valley Barracks

On Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at 10:05 AM, Troopers arrested Algelys Ventura, age 39, of 186 Peace Street, Providence, Rhode Island for Domestic Disorderly Conduct. This arrest was the result of a domestic incident that occurred during the overnight hours on Friday, April 19, 2024, and Ventura subsequently turning himself in to the Lincoln Woods Barracks. Mr. Ventura was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released pending a future Fourth District Court date.

On Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at 3:58 PM, Troopers arrested Bobby S. Brown, age 34, of 231 Rhodes Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Domestic Felony Assault with a Knife originating out of the Providence Police Department, 2.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant originating out of the Rhode Island State Police Hope Valley Barracks for Obstruction (2 Counts), and 3.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment for Simple Assault/Battery originating out of the Cranston Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Roberts Street in the Town of West Warwick. Mr. Brown was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later transported to the ACI - Men's Intake Center where he will be held as a bail violator.

On Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 1:02 AM, Troopers arrested Evan T. Socha, age 23, 19 Amanda Lane, Griswold, Connecticut for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs B.A.C. Unknown - First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test - First Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of West Warwick. Mr. Socha was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult pending a future Third District Court date.
