Grab a book and share new experiences with friends and family at the Lewisville Public Library, 1197 W. Main Street. The Library is open Monday - Thursday, 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 1-5 p.m.

Origami Day
For families with children of all ages

Everyone is invited to come celebrate World Origami Day. Drop by to learn about the art of paper folding and make a paper crane, a boat, and other creations to take home.

NaNoWriMo Write-Ins
For adults 18 and over
Mondays in November 7-8 p.m.
No Registration | Crawford Meeting Room

National Novel Writing Month participants are invited to come write in the Library every Monday night in November. Meet other writers, participate in writing sprints, and boost word count to make it to the 50,000-word goal. Attendees should bring their own laptop or writing materials.

Budgeting Part 2
For adults 18 and over
Tuesday, Nov. 5, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

In Part 2 of this workshop, learn tips on how to live within current financial budget and what are Wants vs. Needs. We will explore how to avoid spending traps and how practical money management habits can help achieve long-term goals. Attendees will complete a budget in class. Registration opens two weeks before the program.
