BakerHostetler Continues to Expand Business Practice Group and Adds Real Estate and Hospitality Partner in Orlando

ORLANDO - Aug. 5, 2022

Key takeaways

  • Ormend Yeilding joins BakerHostetler's Orlando office as a partner in the firm's Business Practice Group and Real Estate team and will also be a member of its Hospitality Industry team.
  • Yeilding advises developers, institutional investors and private equity groups on the acquisition, financing and restructuring, and disposition of resorts, hotels and other leisure assets. His arrival follows the addition of an Atlanta-based Real Estate team, led by partners Josiah Bancroft and Robert Bittner, and Hospitality Industry team co-leader Jeff Diener in San Francisco, who joined earlier this year.
  • His arrival is the latest addition to BakerHostetler's rapidly expanding Business Practice Group, which has added 11 partners in 2022.

Why this matters

Yeilding has extensive experience with sophisticated transactions for some of the world's most recognizable hospitality and leisure assets nationwide, making him a strategic addition to BakerHostetler's rapidly expanding Real Estate and Hospitality teams, both nationally and in Florida. His arrival further strengthens the firm's ability to advise clients in all types and kinds of hospitality transactions across the United States.
