Nittany Lions Shut Out in Season Opener

PONOMA, NJ- The Penn State Abington women's tennis team opened their season with a road trip to Stockton University, but fell to the Offprey 9-0. Abington begins their season with a 0-1 record.

The Nittany Lions dropped their top two doubles in a 8-1 & 8-1 decision. In singles Stockton swept all six flights, but sophomore (Shirley, NY) came close at the third flight but fell 6-3, 6-2.

Abington will be back in action this Saturday when they travel to Cairn University for a 1:00pm match.
