Lane Closure on Palm River Rd between S 58th St and S 57th St

Beginning at 9am today, the westbound lane on Palm River Road will be closed between South 58th Street and South 57th Street while the Tampa Water Department conducts maintenance on the water distribution system. Barricades and flaggers will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 5pm each day and then close again the following morning at 9am to continue the work. In addition, the westbound lane will be open throughout the weekend with work resuming on Monday, April 1 at 9am. Please use caution when driving in the area.

The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by 5pm, Tuesday, April 2. The Tampa Water Department may need to return at a later date to complete additional work. An update will be provided at that time. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. The staff and crews of the Tampa Water Department appreciate everyone's patience during this time.
