Shortly, the canteen, engineering communications and landscaping, as well as the installation of a flag tower will be carried out on the territory of the battalion. According to Juansher Burchuladze, the main infrastructural works on the bases throughout the Georgian Defense Forces will be completed by the end of this year. Deputy Minister of Defense Grigol Giorgadze and senior officials of the Defense Forces also got acquainted with the infrastructural works.

One of the priorities since the appointment of Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili as Minister of Defense is the complete upgrade of the existing infrastructure, for which 100 million GEL was allocated in 2020, which is 4 times more than the previous year. This year, this policy will continue and 80 million GEL will be spent on infrastructure maintenance and construction. With these funds, construction and rehabilitation of up to 100 facilities is planned. As a result, the Georgian military will have infrastructure in line with the standards of NATO member states.
