The following is work scheduled to occur on state highways within the Ohio Department of Transportation District 1, which includes the counties of Allen, Defiance, Hancock, Hardin, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Wyandot. The schedule of work is dependent upon weather conditions, and unless otherwise noted, work will take place during daytime hours.

ALLEN COUNTY

Interstate 75 between state Route 81 and state Route 65, Lima, will be restricted to one lane in both directions for repair of pavement under warranty through early July. Work will take place on the mainline lanes, as well as on the southbound entrance and exit ramps at state Route 81. Work is being performed by Kokosing Construction Company, Westerville.

Interstate 75 between the Stewart Road overpass and Napoleon Road, between the city of Lima and the village of Beaverdam, will be restricted to one lane in both directions beginning Monday, July 8, for a pavement resurfacing project. The project also includes repairs on the ramps at the Bluelick Road interchange and on the bridges over Sugar Creek. Lane restrictions will be in place each week from Monday morning to Friday afternoon. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction on weekends. Work will continue through early October. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.

The following ramp closures are associated with the project:

· Interstate 75 southbound entrance and exit ramps at Bluelick Road will close Monday, July 15, for approximately five days. Detour details will be forthcoming.· Interstate 75 northbound entrance and exit ramps at Bluelick Road will closed Monday, July 29, for approximately five days. Detour details will be forthcoming.

State Route 66 between Kolter Road and Deep Cut Road, just south of the village of Spencerville, will close Monday, July 15, for approximately 60 days for the replacement of eight culverts. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 117, state Route 116 and state Route 197 back to state Route 66. Work is being performed by Vernon Nagel, Inc., Napoleon.

State Route 81 between Wapak Road and Defiance Trail, west of Lima, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.

State Route 103 (Jefferson Street)over Riley Creek, between Huber Street and Vance Street within the village of Bluffton, will close Monday, July 1, for approximately four months for a bridge replacement. The closure will take place within a larger active work zone for a village water line replacement project, which is already underway between county Road 15 (County Line Road) and Main Street. Local access is maintained throughout the village's work zone, but traffic will be unable to cross the bridge during the ODOT bridge replacement project. Traffic will be detoured county Road 15 (County Line Road) and Main Street back to Jefferson Street. The bridge replacement project is being performed by Eagle Bridge Company, Sidney.

State Route 117 between Greely Chapel Road and Bowman Road, Lima, may be restricted to one lane in each direction through the work zone at times, but the highway is now open without restrictions a majority of time. The project includes pavement resurfacing and the replacement of curbs, catch basins and crossover drainage pipes. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

State Route 196 between state Route 117 and Madden Road, north of Waynesfield, will close Monday, July 15, for approximately two weeks for the replacement of three culverts. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 117 and state Route 67 back to state Route 196. Work is being performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage. (see map)

State Route 309 between the Allen County Fairgrounds and the Hardin County line will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing. The project also includes drainage work near the Allen County Fairgrounds. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

First Street over Flat Fork Creek, east of Pierce Street near Delphos St. John's School, closed June 17 for approximately 45 days for a bridge replacement. The project is being administered by the Ohio Department of Transportation on behalf of the city of Delphos. Work is being performed by The Eclipse Company, Chagrin Falls.

Third Street over Flat Fork Creek, between Douglas Street and Scott Street within the city of Delphos, closed May 13 for approximately two months for a bridge replacement project. Traffic is detoured onto Scott Street, Second Street, and Douglas Street back to Third Street. The project is being administered by the Ohio Department of Transportation on behalf of the city of Delphos. Work is being performed by The Eclipse Company, Chagrin Falls.

DEFIANCE COUNTY

For more information regarding the Clinton Street bridge replacement project within the city of Defiance, visit the project website here. The bridge closed Feb. 25 for approximately nine months for a full replacement.

State Route 18 between state Route 281 and the Henry County line, east of the city of Defiance, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for a chip seal project. Work is being performed by the ODOT Defiance County maintenance garage.

U.S. 127 between Pearl Street and Lawrence Street, within the village of Sherwood, is now open following railroad crossing repairs.

U.S. 127between the village of Sherwood and state Route 249 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for guardrail repairs. Work is being performed by Lake Erie Construction, Norwalk.

State Route 281 between the city of Defiance and the Henry County line will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for a chip seal project. Work is being performed by the ODOT Defiance County maintenance garage.

HANCOCK COUNTY

State Route 103 between state Route 698 and township Road 71, between the villages of Jenera and Arlington, closed Monday, June 10, for approximately 45 days for a pavement repair and shoulder widening project. Traffic is detoured onto state Route 235, U.S. 30 and U.S. 68 back to state Route 103. Work is being performed by Helms and Sons, Findlay. (see map)

State Route 235 between county Road 313 and the Wood County line, excluding its overlaps with state Route 12 and state Route 186, is currently open without restrictions. A pavement resurfacing project in the area has stopped temporarily but will resume in late July. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.

State Route 613 between the Putnam County line and the village of McComb will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for the removal of raised pavement markings. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hancock County maintenance garage.

HARDIN COUNTY

State Route 67at township Road 119, west of the city of Kenton, closed Monday, June 3, for approximately 75 days for a culvert replacement. The project also includes the reprofiling of state Route 67 and township Road 119 to enhance sight distance at their intersection. Township Road 119 at state Route 67 is also closed during the project. The following detours are in place. Work is being performed by R & I Construction, Tiffin. (see map)

· State Route 67 traffic is detoured onto state Route 235 and state Route 309 back to state Route 67.· Township Road 119 traffic is detoured onto township Road 95, township Road 180 and county Road 115 back to township Road 119.

U.S. 68 (Fontaine Street) between Espy Street and Letson Avenue, within the city of Kenton, will close Monday, July 8, for approximately five days for storm sewer repairs. Traffic will be detoured onto Letson Avenue, state Route 31 (Main Street) and Carrol Street back to U.S. 68. Work is being performed by the city of Kenton.

State Route 701 between state Route 309 and county Road 75 closed July 1 for approximately 45 days for the replacement of two bridges. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 309 and U.S. 68 back to state Route 709. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay. (see map)

PAULDING COUNTY

State Route 613 near township Road 159, just west of the village of Melrose, will close Monday, July 8, for approximately five days for a culvert replacement. Detour information will be forthcoming. Work is being performed by the ODOT Paulding County maintenance garage.

State Route 613 between the Indiana state line and the Putnam County line will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for work being done in preparation for a chip seal project. Work is being performed by the ODOT Paulding County maintenance garage.

PUTNAM COUNTY

State Route 613 between the Paulding County line and state Route 15 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for work being done in preparation for a chip seal project. Work is being performed by the ODOT Putnam County maintenance garage.

State Route 634 between Oak Street and Elm Street, within the village of Continental, will close Monday, July 8, for approximately nine days for railroad crossing repair. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 613 and state Route 15 back to state Route 634. Work is being performed by Safety Services Supply. (see map)

VAN WERT COUNTY

State Route 49 between U.S. 30 and U.S. 224 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for the removal of raised pavement markings in preparation for a chip seal project. Work is being performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage.

State Route 81 between county Road 103 (Mendon Road) and Thomas Road, west of the village of Elgin, is now open following the replacement of twin culvert structures and additional drainage work.

State Route 116 between the Auglaize County line and Middle Point Road, excluding its overlap with state Route 117, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing. Work is being performed by Shelly Company, Findlay.

Jefferson Streetover Town Creek, between Main Street and Crawford Street within the city of Van Wert, will close later this summer for a bridge replacement. Details on the closure date and timeframe will be forthcoming. Utility relocation work is currently underway in the area. Northbound traffic will be detoured onto Crawford Street, Shannon Street and Main Street back to Jefferson Street. Southbound traffic will be detoured onto Central Avenue, Washington Street and Crawford Street back to Jefferson Street. The project is being administered by the Ohio Department of Transportation on behalf of the city of Van Wert. Work is being performed by Eagle Bridge Company, Sidney.

WYANDOT COUNTY

U.S. 23between county Road 97 and the U.S. 30 interchange, north of Upper Sandusky, will be restricted to one lane in each direction through the work zone for pavement resurfacing. Variable speed limit signs will be in place to display the legal, posted speed limit through the work zone. Work is being performed by The Shelly Company, Findlay.

State Route 67between state Route 103 and the northern corporation limit of Sycamore, within the village of Sycamore, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing. Work is being performed by Kokosing Construction Company, Columbus.

State Route 103 just east of state Route 53 will close Monday, July 8, for approximately 45 days for a culvert replacement. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 53 and state Route 67 back to state Route 103. Work is being performed by the ODOT Wyandot County maintenance garage. (see map)

State Route 103 between state Route 199 and the Crawford County line, excluding its overlap with state Route 53, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing. Work is being performed by Kokosing Construction Company, Columbus.

State Route 231 between county Highway 330 (Lincoln Highway) and the Seneca County line will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing. Work is being performed by Kokosing Construction Company, Columbus.
