Five to Thrive and Kindness at Work

Five to Thrive Challenge

Employees and their spouses enrolled in the Group Health Insurance Program can discover the benefits of munching on fruits and veggies during this four-week challenge, starting July 11. Track your fruits and veggies for this challenge to complete your well-being activity, which counts toward the $150 incentive. Register in your Well Wisconsin portal account and share information about the challenge with others!

Kindness at Work Reminder: Human Connection

For the month of July, Random Acts of Kindness encourages everyone to focus on human connection. Dr. Robert Waldinger shares that, "A research study by Harvard conducted over a period of 80 years, proves that human connections and healthy relationships are the number one and two drivers of longevity, respectively."

Join in on activities to promote kindness, self-compassion, and overall well-being with the Random Acts of Kindness calendar. Employees and their spouses in the Group Health Insurance Program can complete 21 activities and a short survey to receive an employer-sponsored activity code to count toward their well-being activity incentive credit.

Kindness Quote of the Month: "Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around." -Leo Buscaglia
