BNSF Carload: Memorial Day 2024 Operating Plan

TRAIN SERVICE
This year, the Memorial Day holiday falls on Monday, May 27. Train service will not be curtailed due to the holiday; however, BNSF plans to minimize the number of yard, local and road-switch assignments at terminals on Monday, May 27, consistent with customer activity and volume demand. Connecting carriers who have reduced operations for the holiday may cause delays on interline traffic.

For interactive tracing 365 days a year, please use BNSF's Tracing web tool by logging in to the customer portal with your username and password and selecting the Trace tab on the Home page. If you have questions regarding a shipment(s), please utilize the Message Us feature on the BNSF Customer Portal (must be registered/logged in to access) or contact BNSF Customer Support at 1-888-428-2673.

Customer Support will maintain a limited staff on Memorial Day. Normal coverage will resume on Tuesday, May 28.
