20th aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces, carrying out the transfer of Russian peacekeepers from the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO, took off from the Almaty airfield.

An-124 Ruslan aircraft took off from the Almaty airfield to the Chkalovsky airfield in the Moscow region.

Today, MTA aircraft continue to deliver personnel and equipment of the Airborne Troops after completing peacekeeping missions to the Chkalovsky airfield in the Moscow Region.

Before the departure, units of Russian peacekeepers at the Almaty airfield in the Republic of Kazakhstan loaded military equipment into aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

At present, 19 military transport aviation aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces (18 Il-76 and 1 An-124 "Ruslan") with Russian peacekeepers from the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO arrived from Kazakhstan at the Chkalovsky airfield near Moscow.

Upon the arrival of all aircraft at the airfield, a solemn meeting of peacekeepers will be organized with the participation of the command of the Airborne Troops.

At the end of the solemn ceremony, the personnel will begin to unload weapons, military equipment, property and march to the point of permanent deployment.

Earlier, units of Russian paratroopers from the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO, who completed the tasks of protecting socially significant objects in the Republic of Kazakhstan, carried out a flight by military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces from the Almaty airfield to the Ivanovo-Severny airfields (Ivanovo region) and Chkalovsky (Moscow region) and returned home.

On January 14 of this year, after loading equipment and personnel, peacekeeping contingents from Armenia, Belarus and Tajikistan returned to their homeland on Il-76 military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces. The unit of peacekeepers of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan returned to the point of permanent deployment, having made a march on regular equipment on their own.

The return of all peacekeepers to their permanent locations is scheduled to be completed by January 19.
