Tiffin University Announces Limited Volunteer Opportunities at the 2024 NFL Draft

Tiffin University is inviting alumni and students to volunteer at the 2024 NFL Draft, presented by Bud Light at Campus. The event is scheduled to take place at Martia Park and Hart Plaza in Detroit, Michigan, from April 25 - 27. Due to an overwhelming amount of interest, TU is seeking individuals who already have accommodations and transportation in or near Detroit.

Volunteers will join over 100 online and traditional students, alumni, faculty and staff who will travel and represent Tiffin University at the NFL Draft. Volunteers will primarily support the NFL Draft Experience, adjacent to the theater, which includes photo opportunities with the Vince Lombardi Trophy, interactive games, concerts, player autograph sessions and big screens to watch the draft.

"The invitation to work the upcoming NFL Draft is a testament to the reputation our sports management majors and student-athletes have earned as past volunteers for Cleveland Browns and Columbus Crew home games," said Dr. Bonnie Tiell, Professor of Management. "We even sent a crew to volunteer at a Monday night NFL game in Mexico City in 2022. It's ultra-satisfying to use this experience as a lens to learn about the back-end logistics of coordinating a massive made-for-television live sports event."
