Higgins Commends Venture Global on Financial Close for Plaquemines LNG

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) commended Venture Global's announcement of a successful closing on $13.2 billion in project financing for the initial phase of the Plaquemines LNG facility and the associated Gator Express pipeline.
Congressman Higgins issued the following statement:
"Yesterday's announcement is a big win for all of South Louisiana. I'm uplifted to see the Plaquemines LNG project moving forward. LNG export facilities like this are major economic contributors and integral to our energy security. Louisiana continues to lead the way for the American LNG industry."
