Senate of Uzbekistan Approved Law on Protection of Population and Territories Against Emergency Situations

On 7 July, during the session of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, chaired by its Speaker Tanzila Narbaeva, senators unanimously approved the Law on Protection of the Population and the Territories Against Emergency Situations of Natural and Man-Made Disasters.

The document regulates measures for liquidation of emergency situations and communication of information in case of danger. The Law also defines the tasks of the ministries, departments and other organizations in such situations.

On the same day, the senators adopted a number of laws in the financial field.
