Library Lovers Expedition

The McHenry County Library Lovers Expedition is a collaborative program organized by some of the McHenry County youth services librarians. These libraries want McHenry County residents to see all of the great things our libraries offer besides books. Anyone young or old can participate in the expedition!

Starting February 1st, you can register at one of these 11 participating libraries:

• Algonquin
• Cary
• Crystal Lake
• Harvard
• Huntley
• Johnsburg
• Marengo
• Nippersink
• River East
• Wauconda
• Woodstock

At registration, you will receive a passport with a map and list of the libraries as well as a lanyard with a unique button to start. Show your passport at each of the other 10 libraries to get it stamped and receive another button.

Visit all libraries by February 28th, and you will be entered into a raffle for 1 of 11 baskets with gift cards to local businesses. Each basket is valued at $50. These baskets are on display by the front desk.
