Mayor Muriel Bowser Kicks Off 10th Anniversary of Citywide Art and Cultural Festival - DC Art All Night

(WASHINGTON, DC)- On Thursday, September 23, at 11:00 a.m., the Bowser Administration will join with local small businesses and artists to kick off the 10th Anniversary of the District's citywide art and cultural festival - DC Art All Night. The festival will take place in eighteen (18) neighborhoods in all eight (8) wards with different activations on each night, bringing visual and performing arts, including painting, photography, sculpture, crafts, fashion, music, dance, theater, film, and poetry, to indoor and outdoor public and private spaces, including local businesses and restaurants.

The festival is presented by Mayor Muriel Bowser and in partnership with participating Main Streets and Business Improvement Districts, with support from the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities (DCCAH)and the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD).

During the global pandemic, DC Art All Night went all-virtual and attracted more than 25,000 live viewers and over 2.5 million engagements on social media. But this year, the District is proud to announce that "DC is Open" and DC Art All Night will be back in-person occurring on Friday, September 24th to Saturday, September 25th.
