Registration open for “Aviation 4 Girls” on 13 October
Event aims to showcase the amazing careers aviation offers to a high-school age audience.
EUROCONTROL is delighted to announce that registrations are now open for this year's edition of the highly popular Aviation 4 Girls (A4G) event.
2022's event - entitled "The New Now - You are the Future of Aviation" - is organised by AviAll - Aviation4All, and pitched at a high-school audience of 15 to 18 year-olds.
We aim to turn dreams of being a pilot, managing busy airspace as an air traffic controller, or operating the vital engineering systems that underpin our industry, into real aspirations for our participating audience. Our inspirational women speakers have done all this and more, and will be doing their best to convince event attendees to realise their dreams, pursue an exciting career in a STEM field and become "the future of aviation". And we have added the chance to take a virtual tour in a flight simulator to get a real feeling for the world of air traffic management, airline pilots and air traffic controllers.
Attendees will also be able to talk to experts who will help them to understand how to transform a passion into a job, as well as attend a small career fair to showcase available professions and careers.
Sign up now to attend on 13 October at our Brussels HQ from 10:00 to 15:00 - we have a ceiling of 100 places for girls and boys in the target age audience to attend in-person, while parts of the event will also be streamed to a wider audience.
