PND adds boat launch to breakwater

The project, developed for the Haines Borough and partially funded by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game under its Sport Fish Restoration Program, was led by PND Principal-in-Charge Dick Somerville and Project Manager Brandon Ivanowicz, who oversaw PND's planning and design team. "The purpose of this project was to address the recreational boating needs of the community with a two-lane boat launch ramp with a boarding float, trailer parking spaces, and vehicle parking spaces to improve pedestrian access and provide a community park facility," Ivanowicz said.
