DFO customers are reimagining the way they move around Australia's favourite outlet destinations, thanks to augmented reality (AR), and a new national competition.
The DFO Insider AR app and competition, launched nationally today, is the result of a partnership between Vicinity Centres - owner of the DFO portfolio - and Melbourne-based augmented reality start-up Plattar. Customers can play to win more than $40,000 in DFO Gift Cards.
David Henderson, Marketing Director, Vicinity Centres said: 'We know our customers at DFO love the thrill of the find whether it's the brands, bargains or both with up to 70% off every day of the year. We're looking forward to sharing the augmented reality experience with the DFO fanbase.'
The competition, designed around celebrating the DFO shopping experience, has five (5) steps to enter:
Mr Henderson said DFO recognised customers were always looking for new and unique shopping experiences and the AR competition was another great addition to the DFO offer.
'We're working to leverage digital technology to enhance the customer experience in-centre while still giving customers an opportunity to see, touch and try their products before purchasing. This is an experience online retail cannot match,' Mr Henderson said.
DFO's AR competition continues until Sunday 28 April 2019 at all six DFOs at South Wharf, Essendon and Moorabbin in Victoria; DFO Homebush, DFO Brisbane and DFO Perth. The app is available via the links:
