The Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business recently hosted its much-anticipated Signing Day, an event aimed at celebrating student achievements. Held annually near the end of the academic semester for students, the event draws business students eager to declare their future career paths or academic endeavors, whether that's securing a full-time job, internship, co-op position, attending graduate schools or venturing into a study abroad program.

The event is organized by the Office of Career and Global Engagement (OCGE) as an initiative to celebrate Powers College of Business students. Throughout the year, the OCGE provides resources for undergraduates, ranging from career preparation and employment opportunities to mentoring and international program participation. Signing Day demonstrates their dedication to cultivating and engaging students in becoming effective leaders, successful graduates and globally competitive professionals.

Ellie Miles, the Career Engagement Coordinator of the OCGE, was an instrumental in the planning for the event. "Signing Day is the most rewarding event our office puts on because we get to see the results of the student's hard work! It is a special feeling to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students together as a Powers College of Business family."

Signing Day allows students to celebrate the culmination of their hard work and dedication, showcasing the Powers College of Business' commitment to fostering a culture of success. The event continues to highlight the College's mission to prepare students for the professional world and life beyond graduation.

Visit the Office of Career and Global Engagement website for more information about upcoming events.
